Ingredients

Can't find it? No masa harina? Fine cornmeal with a little wheat flour gets close.

How to make it (one way)

  1. Mix masa harina, salt and warm water into a soft dough
  2. Roll into balls a bit bigger than a ping-pong ball and flatten
  3. Put cheese or beans in the center and close it up
  4. Pat into a disc about 1 cm thick
  5. Cook on a dry griddle until both sides are golden
