Zero flavor. The side dishes do the talking.

Very mild, plain corn flavor. It's there to soak up the stew.

Ingredients

Can't find it? No white corn flour? Fine cornmeal works.

How to make it (one way)

  1. Boil the water in a pot and add salt
  2. Add the corn flour little by little, stirring with a wooden spoon
  3. Lower the heat and work it hard until no longer floury
  4. When it's firm enough to pull away from the pot, keep working it a few more minutes
  5. Turn it onto a plate, shape into a round, and serve with sides
⚠️ It's hot while you stir, so watch out for splatters and burns.
