Galicia's pricey, dinosaur-toe-looking goose barnacles
Think of it as: Like a lobster-flavored shrimp hidden in a leathery claw
Looks like dinosaur toes. Costs like caviar.
What does it taste like?
Briny, sweet and oceanic, somewhere between shrimp and crab.

What is it?
Goose barnacles that cling to wave-battered rocks. Harvesters risk the surf to pry them off, which makes them very pricey. They're boiled in salted water and the pink meat is twisted out.Source: Wikipedia
How locals eat it
Peeled by hand in Galician bars and eaten with white wine.
