Snails baked in garlic butter
Think of it as: Like garlic bread's fancy French date night
Yes, snails. But that garlic butter, though.
What does it taste like?
Garlicky, herby butter with an earthy, mushroom-like bite.

What is it?
Edible snails baked with butter blended with garlic and parsley, a French classic. They're baked in their shells and pulled out with special tongs and a little fork.Source: Wikipedia
How locals eat it
Served as a starter: grip the shell with tongs and pull the snail out with a thin fork. Mopping up the leftover butter with a baguette is half the fun.
